Spain: Day 3 Granada-Generalife

We spent entire day in Alhambra.. so there's a lot to tell.. ^_^; From all the provinces that we went in Andalusia,I like Granada the best.. since my parents enjoy it there. A part that my dads look cute with his backpack, he likes to take a picture with the whole body inside the frame.. It turns out that you won't see the face clearly. Well.. talk about superstitious.. ^_^; And my mum.. always like to take pictures with flowers.. Good things that Generalife is a huge garden with ranges of colorful roses.. She would always ask to take a picture with roses as big as our hands.

There's one of picture inside the collage where my mum sniff the flower.. It's not a rose and we don't even know what kind of flower is that.. So I pluck a bunch of it and put it inside my handbag so she can bring it home.. hahaha.. macam leh tanam.. even though andalusia is in the south with hot weather.. still it has 4 season which is why the flowers so big! I remind my mum, she won't be able to plant it, but we can just pluck the flowers.. Tapi wangi seh.. But there's also one kind of flower that has stinky smelling.. like kencing anjing bau dia.. ^_^; We thought maybe someone pee at the pave of the garden, but it turn out, the plane emit that stinky smell.. so I nickname the flower as Bunga kencing anjing.. Not bad wat.. ;)

One thing if u want to go to Alhambra is that you have to prepare lunch and bring it there coz there's no halal food on that place.. Even though it's a islamic historical place, every food will have pigsty thing.. So we bring something with us and had lunch there. And.. you don't have to bring the tripod.. the guard won't let u coz they think we take it for commercial.. Macam untung kalau aku jual gambar yg aku amek.. tah siapa la nak beli..

Banyak sangat tempat.. buku plak dah pos ke mesia.. tak leh citer sejarah alhambra nih.. tapi yg aku ingat.. itulah salah satu fortress and palace terakhir yg ditakluk oleh christian di bumi spain.. lepas tu diorg invade all the mosque(they called mezqita) and turn into church.. only this palace was not tainted with it. The last collage show that we were at one of the watching tower. Kalau nampak gunung kat panorama tuh, that is Sierra Nevada, one of mountains surround by snow and there's ski resort there. Naik tower tu berpusing2 tangga dia.. penat gak.. tapi tak la tinggi sangat.. cuma my parent la pancit jap... dapat amek gambar sket jadi la.. rehat sat.. baru turun.. tapi view kat situ mmg cantik..

That will end my story in Granada.. sebab kami tak pegi tak pegi tempat lain pon.. coz my parent tak leh jenjalan jauh sgt.. Nasib baik la tak bawak gi Paris ke.. TAk tau nak bawak mane.. shopping LV? ^o^;

Spain: Day 3 Granada-Alhambra

I remind my dad that we need to rush to Alhambra before 8.30 am. We manage to catch the bus at 7.40am and reach there at 8am. Then, print out my ticket.. rushing to the gate. They don't give out maps, so I have to buy the guide book, rush to the gate and walk to the Nasrid Palace. You have to be there exactly the time state in the ticket, if you're late.. they won't let you in.

Cute tak my mom and dad masa ni? Sorang pakai bag pack Nike (it's mine) macam budak sekolah, sorang pakai jaket Uni macam gi rombongan je.. ^o^

Spain: Day 1 & 2

We arrive at Malaga airport at 9.30pm.. It's maghrib at that time and we miss Asar and lunch too. Just arrive at the last bus stop, we were lost. We don't know where we were and I kept asking those guys that walking along the street. Alas, there's a tourist who show me the area of the hostel. Then, we walk about 5km, asking and turning to several road. Alas we found it. Exhausted, my mom and I cook rice and tin food quickly but I think my stomach cannot accept it. And the best part, my father start nagging and commenting everything about the room and the place. It seems he doesn't like it since the bathroom shared ^_^; I just didn't care coz my headache does not stop and we just got to sleep like that.

On day 2, I talk with mum early morning about our trip. My mum explain that she rather stay at Dublin then Spain. Then, we wake my father and talk to him if he wants to go back to Dublin. But he decline it. What a waste :P. And to top it off, my sis text me to talk in YM ASAP.. and it's only about baju kurung when she tell me later (about 6 hours after that!).. She's really capable of making me a worriwart.. ^_^;

The next adventure, we go to Granada. It's easier by bus than train. This time, I ask the receptionist where to wait for taxi coz I know my dad cannot walk far and his mood will deteriorate if his tired. Better makes him happy if I want to spend another 5 days in Spain.. ;) We took a bus, talking and gossiping to catch with them, tell them what I do here.. I think that's the best time we spent. I think I agree with my mum, I should spent time with them with talking not vacationing.. Point noted, and I wont do that after this.. :D

We were in the bus to Granada. Kelakarnye, my father also bring his Olympus camera, the old camera that used films ^_^; Terpaksa layan kerenah dia amek gambar ngan kamera tuh.. :D

Sampai Granada, leave our things and went out to find mezqita and food. Another lost this time, I still cannot read the map.. :(( Then, a Muslim girl help us find the mezqita, although we talk like ayam itik.. she can understand a few English words, and I can only know si(yes) and perdon(excuse me) only.. ^_^; Still, we reach the mezqita, and found all the halal restaurant..

After pray, we went to a morrocan restaurant, order some morrokesh food and can't finish it.. Bak kata my father, tekak tak masuk.. ^_^; Langsung kami pegi ke supermarket, buy some fruits, breads and other stuff. Went back to hotel and boil rice again. Nasik jugak yg diorg nak.. hahaha..

My birthday parties

Lama tak update.. Patut citer pasal Spain.. but later kot.. nak update malas plak..
A series of bday parties were thrown for me. Guess when you've reach 30ish, other people get excited to celebrate but not me.. ^_^;

This is one of the party held in CASL where my postgrad lab is. Ni kawan2 yg I kenal dan baik.. Tenks Syarul.. JC and Kunjan.. Kene tipu ngan these guys.. konon ade get together.. sekali surprise bday party.. There are 2 other girls on the same birt month.. Suki was 21 May, Thalia I think 23rd May. So Happy bday gurlz..

I've stay over for one night with them.. tolong along kemas barang utk shipping.. borak2 ngan along.. jadi kaunselor masalah cinta tak bertauliah jap malam tuh.. tapi tak de la membantu sgt.. tee hee.. lepas cakap2 ngan nasya terus tertido tak sedar cakap apa kat bebudak tuh..

Esoknya, budak2 ni plan nak gi beli ikan.. ingat kan nak pegi pasar je.. rupanya gi howth.. sebutan cam hoth..

Dah kenyang baru beli ikan.. dalam leka menengok ikan.. i was separated with along, nasya and sue.. tinggal ai dgn myself.. hantu betul budak2 nih.. leka menengok.. tak ingat kami.. langsung kami melencong tgk kat tepi jeti.. nampak a school of seal..

Dah penat call budak2 tuh, baru la jupe kat kedai ikan depan jeti tu jugak.. beli la ikan seabass (siakap kata budak2 nih) ngan ray wings (pari).. murah giler... tapi tah bila nak masak la nih.. ^_^;
